• What happened to Hitman games?

They were really cool and awesome and they were a big part of my gaming life, so I really want to see some new games from hitman. Are hitman games canceled or what? Blood money was great, especially it's new graphics, but then it stopped and no sign of any new hitman game. Or am I missing something?
Games take time... especially next gen ones that actually are good...(Damnit Valve :argh:)
I know, but every hitman game was released in the next 2 years, but now there's no talking of any new game.
Blood Money was fucking AMAZING, this from a guy who didn't like the first 3.
Yeah i've been in the hitman mood, i even got bored enough to make a tf2 hitman skin for the ambassador.
Hitman 5 is in development.
It's not, IO is currently working on mini ninjas & kane and lynch sequel =(
I keep seeing Agent 47 everwhere.
he died
Seeing as the ending of Blood Money was a mini-cliffhanger, I doubt they'd just drop the IP.
he died
If you played the ending the wrong way, yes.
he died
You obviously didn't wiggle your mouse/joysticks.
he died
No. He didn't die. That is not the complete ending. When you reach that point, rotate the movement stick. You will get up with the two Silverballer pistols and have to kill everyone there. If you're on the Xbox 360, you also get a nice 50G achievement. I hope there is a new Hitman game released. I don't see why IO Interactive would even continue with Kane and Lynch games. I didn't like first three Hitman games (Codename 47, Silent Assassin, Contracts), but I did enjoy Blood Money.
New hitman game coming out, it was obvious Blood money wasn't going to be the last one, because you are still alive at the end.
New custer's revenge game coming out, it was obvious custer's revenge wasn't going to be the last one, because you are still alive at the end.
for me, all games were enjoyable actually. I remember watching trailer for Hitman: Contracts like a maniac. And then for Blood Money like a maniac. Now I want to watch trailer for next game like a maniac.
Games take time... especially next gen ones that actually are good...(Damnit Valve :argh:)
I often wonder why people call things next-gen these days, that was what they called THIS 'gen' 4 years ago yet people still refer to THIS 'gen' as NEXT 'gen'. Gen makes even less sense now since it's short for generation, referring to (Was was the) next generation of consoles and their initial games and is now the current generation of consoles. What are we supposed to call it when the NEXT generation comes along, still the 'next gen' 10 years from now? Games don't come in generations anyway, consoles do. PC is a constant rolling advance so there aren't even generations (Unless you include Graphics card series as generations for some reason) so calling Episode 3 a 'next generation' game is wrong in every regard. Anyway, Hitman... Yes they're very, very good games. People have been churning out suggestions for the next game since a week after Blood Money was released but there hasn't been any official word on Hitman 5. However, the series hasn't been ditched simply because it would be an awful move for IO to give up their most popular game.
what the fuck
Play again and be shocked.
It's not, IO is currently working on mini ninjas & kane and lynch sequel =(
Yes, it's being worked on in parralell. Just less effort until those 2 are done.
They have to have mulitplayer!
Play again and be shocked.
OMG HES ALIVE!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!! omg
I hope for some AI improvements so stealth is more challenging.
