Is the origional fallout worth playing? I see the shitty graphics and im wondering if it is any good or if it is just a piece of retro shit. I just got the game at my local gamestop for 14$
There's a difference between old graphics and bad graphics. Fallout is old, but doesn't look bad to me. Also yes, if you have a decent attention span. And were born before 1994.
It takes some time to get into, but after that it's great.
I was born on 94, and I like the entire series.
I was born in 90, and I love Fallout & Fallout 2. OnTopic If you can handle the crappy graphics, then you will have a great time.
If you can tolerate the god awful combat system that involves missing 99 percent of the time while a giant ant is right infront of you yes its a good game, great plot, and quests.
I don't see why people find Fallout 1 and 2's 2D graphics "shitty". Compared to 3D games of the day, the bitmap sprites had a hell a lot of detail and either they were hand-made frame by frame or a rendered hi-poly 3D model. Those graphics kids must also hate games like Starcraft and Diablo since according to them sprites suck balls.
I was born in 96, and I like almost all of the fallout games. :smug:
OP sounds like a troll, but yes the Fallouts are awesome.
I bad spik engrlisch but what does "origional" miean?
Yes it most defiantly is worth playing.
For me Fallout 1 & 2 are the best fucking games that ever existed
Have a box, son.
You're asking us AFTER you bought it? You're quite the Dr. Professor.

How I dislike people that judge games based on their graphics... Yes, it is worth playing, more so than that piece of shit Fallout 3.

Im asking this only because i have played fallout 3.

It's been over ten years and there's still no other game where you can punch someone in the balls, causing them to fall over in pain, then blast them to hell with a minigun while they're lying on the ground (other than Fallout 2).
I was thinking about buying this too since I loved Fallout 3. So, if I love Fo3, will I like the originals?
I was thinking about buying this too since I loved Fallout 3. So, if I love Fo3, will I like the originals?
You might love them, or you might hate them. Fallout 3 really doesn't have much in common with the originals, apocalyptic setting aside.
i was born in 87 and BACK IN MY DAYS, GAMES WEREN'T SO GREAT! i was wondering though, is it possible to get rid of the "time limit" on fallout 1/2? if i remember right, you have like 150 days or something to complete the game
yes they are worth it, the first levels for both games are really annoying, but once you get past them prepare to waste hours of you're life.
I started playing and i can't stop. I can't beleve i was missing out on this!
In fallout 1 you have 150 days do complete the first quest(finding the water chip)if I remember correctly.
This, and if not patched you get another time limit after that. The patch fixed this and now you only have the 150 day limit, which is more than enough.
Only 12 year olds cant stand old games because they havent grown up with a S/NES or a Genesis.
