Here's yet another "upgrade and buy stuff to go further" type of game, but this one's probably the best one i've played. It looks incredibly great too
Description:
Use cannons, bombs, and jetpacks to shoot your turtle as far as possible!
Collect cash to upgrade your equipment.
Controls:
Click and hold to gain power, release to fire
Use the WASD keys to control the turtle in flight
Click with your mouse to shoot the turtle

When I read the thread title, I totally thought this would be about picking up and strength mode throwing the turtle in Crysis.

Pretty sure it's suposed to. They've taken a bunch of video game characters for the game
I've seen maybe 5+ threads with really similar games, Hedgehog Launcher and Penguin something are two examples.

They got achievements a while ago. It's nothing speciall imo, i'd rather collect them on kongregate

I find that the ak47 (tier 2) is the best weapon in the game with the uzi (tier 1) in second. The two 'tier 3' weapons although powerful they do not yield as much distance due to the lack of ammo.
Just launch at a 35-45 degree angle (relative to the horizontal) at full power, use the jet pack/missile at the top of your ark. Then shoot the turtle when it gets close to the ground (but it must not touch the ground) with 1 built to send it back up to high altitude. With this method, a little luck and the chest bomb (it doesn't normally pay for itself) a distance of 952795.3ft can be achieved!
You can also own more than 1 nuke but it doesn't seem to lengthen the flight.
Location of the secret button: [sp]In the centre of the sign in the shop, it will sow as a white question mark when the mouse is hovered over it.[/sp]

And if you keep the up button pressed while "climbing", you won't lose any height, only gain it with each shot (i'm talking about 10-20 with 1 ak47 shot).

Thanks, you just increased my range by 50% now my best is 1519052.9ft (1.5 Million feet!). Former best is in my last post (0.9 Million feet).
I just wasted an hour of my life on this, and I'm not done with it. :v: Epic.
