Problem with installing Grand theft auto: San Andreas

I recently found my old Gta: Sa disc, I uninstalled it then reinstalled it but when it was half way through the installation it came up:

Feature transfer error

Feature: Grand Theft Auto San Andreas game data

Component: Audio

File: H:\data2.cab

Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

Does this have something to do with deleting memory on my PC?
