I played 1401, I think it was called. I wasted about a week on it, but ultimately I found it too boring that all you did was build more houses so you could get better people so you could get more taxes so you could build more houses. It was incredibly addictive though. Fun fact: Ano is Spanish for anus.
looks incredibly uninteresting, and is published by Ubisoft meaning you'll see one patch in two years that will fix a minor bug, while the game slowly becomes more and more obscure, sinking into the depths of crashing every five minutes.

Thank you guys for your extremely contributing comments, but don't you think you should try playing the demo before you actually say its no good? P.S dryer that was probably anno 1701, Which is the prequal of Anno 1404 ( makes no sense in the timeline but gtfo)
Looks interesting, I'll test it out.
I've pretty much been disappointed with every Anno game after the first (which I absolutely love and still play today), but like all the others I'll give this a try and hope for the best.
:gizz:

Looks like a Settlers 6 Expansion.
The Anno series is always really good, kind of forgot about it though. going to try the demo.
Awesome. The Anno games are great and pretty relaxing to play.
Psst, put together all the numbers in the titles and you'll get 9, but don't tell anyone
SHHHHH, no you unveiled the secret conspiracy that will destroy the world if anyone finds out.....
I've played the demo and I'm actually impressed, I had a lot of fun playing it.
best one was the first, 1504 i think it was
Looks boring. Really boring.
best one was the first, 1504 i think it was
1602 was, released Sept. '98. The Devs claim that 1404 is gonna be closer to 1602. I was disappointed with 1503 and didn't even try 1701 because of that. I just hope 1404 works great in multiplayer..

I remember the first one, it was called 1602 A.D. in the US, I didn't try any of the others though.
This game is amazing. Must.....resist.....urge....to buy.
It looks like fun but the campaign makes me not want to play it. I hope that Falcor guy or whatever his name is, is evil so I can tear him to shreds with my church :v:

I hope that Falcor guy or whatever his name is, is evil so I can tear him to shreds with my church :v:
I don't want to play campaign, continuous play is pretty cool as is. In the demo, I made 2 huge colonies, nearly bankrupted my economy, entered recession, started to come out of recession (barely), then started to get extremely low on natural resources, then equalized everything and entered a golden age. Then I ran out of time. Exciting shit. However, how do you finish the "capture 1 orient warrior" mission the lord guy gives you? Also, it has multiplayer. (According to steam)
Also, it has multiplayer. (According to steam)
yeah thats one of the main reasons i will buy it, with anno 1701 i usually had a desync problem, i hope that will be fixed here so i can play it with everyone else!
holy shit this game is amazing too bad the demo only gives you an hour or so at a time
Downloading now.
holy shit this game is amazing too bad the demo only gives you an hour or so at a time
A time limit, that's it?
I found 1701 to be kind of confusing and clunky.
This game is sick I'm buying when I get back to Florida
