• Perfect Dark and Goldeneye - how do people enjoy these games?

I played these games the other day and think they're absolutely terrible. I can't see the logic in enjoying these games when we have the likes of Halo 3 and The Sims - why would we bother enjoying legacy games? Some legacy games are ok, but the likes of Perfect Dark and Goldeneye are a pile of crap! Neither have a constructive storyline, the gameplay is terrible and the graphics burn my eyes! (the textures in the games are like wallpaper, the guns don't reload properly, there's no proper animation, the women all have short hair and look like men, people talk with their mouths closed and the soundtracks are awful and sound like something from an ancient Sega console). Personally, IMO, I rate both: Perfect dark: 3/10 Goldeneye: 1/10 (this is perhaps the worst game I have ever played)
So, in other words, Perfect Dark is a bad game because it doesn't compare to today's games? If so you're a total idiot, and I'd take those games over Halo 3 or Sims 3 any day.
You probably played them by yourself.
Or he's just a graphics whore.
Because not everyone is a 9 years old and has ADD. And yes, I'd take Goldeneye or Perfect Dark over Halo 3 or GoW2 anyday.
You probably played them by yourself.
I had also tried multiplayer but they don't even facilitate online play which is terrible. The split screen is awful and requires you to be cross-eyed; you can't tell which screen is which (I think the games crash on multiplayer; we had tried different copies on different N64s).
