Well, saying as blizzard has completely fucked WoW I'm going to need another game which isn't as boring as fuck to dwindle time into while I am bored, I don't want any free shit, we all know they're all useless grindfucks designed by mass producing Koreans who have nothing better to do apart from spreading aids.
Anyway, I was thinking maybe EVE although I really like the idea of one with mechanics slightly similar to WoW.
List of stuff I really, really won't play ever again.
Guild wars - It was ok then the expansions confused me so fuck that
Runes of Magic - look at korean grind and partially falls under weeaboo shit
Runes of Magic
get eve if you'r 20+ and stubborn as fuck

I am waiting for guild wars 2, star wars ain't really my walk in the park.
While your waiting I guess you could check out warhammer online, if you like pvp
heard it was dead
Ye aion online sort of killed it, but if you have friends to play with it's fun.
my friends will be too busy playing worgen
Your best bet is WoW clones like Runes of Magic.
dont really want a WoW clone, especially something that's free as they usually have mass amounts of idiots, not to say WoW doesn't but still.

Darkfall Online - Massive grind, very open world, a skinny-fleshed out craft system and nonlaggy combat system.
Haven and Hearth - Wurm online clone, town building-ish game, sandbox MMO
EVE Online - A bit of a grind, a great skill training system, a bit varied altough the space theme can get bald quickly.
Ragnarok Online - Very old MMO, can be fun for the first few classes, very varied, but leveling is a huge grind.
Ragnarok Online 2 - Fleshed out more, more fun, more varied, less of a grind.
Could try Mortal Online when it comes out.

WoW is pretty much a grind game the same as all other MMO's.

Darkfall is only a grind if you want it to be.
and how do you grind something that doesn't end?

Erm. It came out again but in terms of the people playing it, sort of I guess.
Everquest 2 its not so user friendly, and Everything depends on Armor and Level of spells and it looks alot better than some games its mostly fun to play with friends on. When you die through pvp you lose some money depending on how much you have say like 5 silver you will lose it all 5 gold you will most likely lose all that too but like 50 gold may lose 14 of it.
you can also lose anything in inventory that isn't attuned, You also probably will spend over 65$ a month to buy the ingame currency its just so hard to earn through PvP. The Pvp aspect of the game is way better than WoW you could be a lvl 22 Templar/Plate wearing Healers and hold off for about an hour before getting killed by a large groups of people. Every level like from lvl 12 to Im sure 72 has Mastercrafted armor, This armor will hold you off until the next 10 Levels and then you need to get you're next Mastercrafted/MC armor.
Achievement Points are gained through killing Named NPCs like say there was some npc named Nefeegal Hanbardment and was a named npc he would have a star next to his name and you could kill him and get AA points to upgrade you're Race and Class specs.
You can also stop leveling for free and start again whenever you want *Note* You will level through pvp no matter what, but to stay a twink its really fun to stop all Combat and Quest XP. If you do play remember that its not the easiest MMO it requires skill :clint:

with US/UK servers or just the asian servers? the old codemasters site is still dead and I'm not sure where else to look.
New MMO.. Give Age of Conan a try. It isn't as bad as it used to be, honestly. I just recently tried it out. It may or may not keep you busy for a whiles yet.Or you could just wait and scope out the MMO's that are on the horizon. Or if not specifically looking for MMO's there are other highly anticipated RPG games such as Diablo 3.
There's tons of options. Oh I'll throw in Lord of the Rings Online to, fantastic graphics and PVE gameplay. PvP is a bit of a mess though. Everquest 2 isn't a bad choice either really, I played that for awhile and enjoyed it. I have no clue of end game content for EQ2 though, so if you're looking to go all the way can't give you any ideas on that.
Aion releases soon doesn't it? I forget, I didn't give that game as much attention as I should have... but check that out to..
Man, Im in the same boat as you aswell parky, quit wow due to playing it since release and just getting over it, now im stuck without my grind, tried EVE but wasn't my cup of tea, Im really just waiting til The Old Republic, dunno when its coming out though... and the Guild Wars 2 trailer was fairly epic though the story is almost exactly the same as WoW's just with more rising dragons and its from the sea not the ground... Im just looking for a fair player base, pref with aussies lol.
WoW isn't ruined you moron. Stop your fucking whining, if they hadn't made a change, the game would get stale. But then again, you're just a whiny ass.
