The ending seemed alot like one of the trailers for the first one, how he looked up to some giant thing and shot at it.
Also how the "The End" Stayed for alittle probably means this is the last and someone will probably die.

Passable trailer, looks pretty samey so far, I hoped it would show some massive battle in interesting terrain. Grey bland backdrops get boring.
Looks like the other two.
Some awful textures here and there too, but they should fix that.

I don't get the point as the planet they're fighting in just keeps pooping more menancing baddies why don't they just oribital bombard the place back to stone age, then let it rot for 200 years and bombard it again it's not like that's the only habitable planet in whatever universe they're supposed to be.

I doubt it, it looked quite alot like Dom to me.
It's Dom, having problems with his wife's death 18 months after Gears 2. Also 4 player co-op confirmed on official IRC.
This trailer is quite cool, I'm a fan off the series. Always liked it, the 3 installement will be kickass.
Nice soundtrack to and now it seems like the world is completely fucked, also the new enemy type looked cool.
Although I don't like the new looks of the characters. Dom looks quite nice but Marcus looks somewhat gay, also a chick gear doesn't seem to fit in that universe*. Well let's see how this will develop.

The woman is probably some "new" gear. I don't know if the book "Aspho Fields" is cannon or not, however, there were some female gears in it.

Those are Lambent, Locust and other living beings changed of the effects of the Imulsion/fuel of that universe.
Also, it's probably a bomb or something that destroyed that whole place and burned everyone instantly, without destroying them completely, causing their corpses to unrealistically stay like that.
