My friend just gave me Steam version of GTA IV Expansion Pack (EfLC) and I have a question

I never got any Steam game that required Games for Windows. So first off do I need to download the Games for Windows thing and do I need an account for the achievements? Secondly, if you remembered GTA IV needs RGSC(Rockstar Games Social Club) will I be needing that to run GTA IV Episodes from Liberty City? That's about it for the questions I need to ask. Please help out.

The newest patch for GTA IV removed the need for RGSC. It doesn't run a seperate .exe for it anymore and you only have to sign into it if you want to play online.

I'm talking about Episodes from Liberty City... is that the same condition as GTA IV?

episodes from liberty city is just the GTAIV engine with new stuff. When you install it it should install all the necessary crap.
