Huxley: The Dystopia, The NEW MMOFPS [closed beta availible/going on now]

Have any of you ever heard of Huxley, the supposed MMOFPS from Webzen? If you have, then you probably haven't heard about it since 2006 or 2007, when they first announced it at the E3s of the respective years. Since then, though, they haven't been talking much about it, and because of this you probably haven't heard about it for a long time. I know I haven't. I was eagerly looking forward to it since it was announced, but delays and more delays, I assumed it was abandoned. I was talking to my friend earlier today, asking if any new MMOs were going to come out that would break the mold. I remembered Huxley from years back, and decided to check out the site to see if it was still being developed. Amazingly, it is!

So here I am, telling anyone here that is interested to sign up for the closed beta that is going on from July 30th to August 12th (going on right now). It is still possible to get in and play, just follow this link and the respective steps and you'll eventually be able to play it (doesn't take that long really. Although the client file is 3.8 GBs). They changed the name to Huxley: The Dystopia, and it still looks very promising, imo. I have yet to play it, but from what I see, it looks very cool. Enjoy, and if you like it, tell more of your friends about it to get more people excited for this game!

Then it got cancelled, then re-bought, then remade as shit.

I got into the closed beta, it's not bad. The classes seem pretty balanced. But it basically plays like a gear dependent UT3. That is unless you are an avenger then it plays like UT2k4, you can get double jump and a dodge teleport. So far the PvE is pretty good, especially with a group. The PvP is laggy as hell though, and thats if you can actually get into a channel.

The open beta is supposed to start the 13th, right after closed beta.

How are you guys getting Huxley to even run? Every time I try it won't do anything for 2 minutes come up with a screen saying something about the anti-hack software didn't run right and them it pretty well locks up my computer and i have to forcefully reset it. I'm running windows vista as well.

I have to agree with Hezzy, I thought it was going to be at least comparable to Planetside (which I love btw) but unfortunately the idea of a room-based-wannabe-mmo-fps does not sit well with me =\
