Volition (ULTOR) WHAT THE FUCK (some spoliers with Saints row)

Okay, if any of you have played Saints row 2, and (or) Red faction, you would know that ULTOR is a massive company... (government? in RF).

In Saints Row 2 There is ULTOR.. good grief this has to be the most awesome reference i have seen. Red Faction was based in Mars, and they are hoRrible, blah blah red faction wants to destroy ultor, blah blah. They are mad with power.. In saints row 1, they are a t-shirt company (if i remember) and in 2 they were a massive corporation that dominated stillwater's saints row area... and you have to fight them off at the end of the game.

I'd say that's a pretty awesome reference. Helps you understand both sides (Saints row and RF).

Any other cool references that help you understand diff games? tell me below :[ :sigh:

Yeah, they crossed the two series' over. In the DLC pack "Ultor Exposed" they make some heavy references to plans for mining on Mars.

and eric gryphon (who becomes head of ultor at the end of sr2) is a reference to gryphon from red faction
also, in the corporate warfare dlc, the main character tells the head of ultor that he "can go to mars for all i care"

and Dane Vogel is referenced as Vogel mountain in RF:G. They're interconnected storylines.

It also adds the EDF Armor to Let's Pretend and the EDF Scout. You can do mock airstrikes with it. :dance:
