Clonk rage is an awesome game with many game modes and features base building.
It's also highly modifiable so there are many mods and game modes out there but personally I like the simple base building modes that I play online and Oil Wars.
I usually host servers with whatever mods I find over the web and at one point it became really popular and the server was filled with Facepunch users creating bases and blowing each other up.
So I'm starting a serve again and once again I have OilWars Revolutions and I've also got Spacewars which involves two teams crating bases using future techs and then beating each other up, ClonkMars which is just a survival mode and quite difficult but is a really big mod and I've just been on a server and collected and awesome gamemode called RocketMelee which is similar to Cliff wars in which both teams have a base and simply fire well aimed rockets at each other.

And it's an unlimited trial which supports mods of course.
Oh, I own this one. It's one of those games I play when I have no internet connection.
I recommend it, the older versions of the game (endeavour and planet if I remember right) are free, so you can try those before actually buying it.
They rarely update it though if I remember right.
Does the full game still cost money?

It only supports mods if a premium player is the host of the modded server, I believe.
I love this game downloading and gonna play soon.
I had a game of a mini game game mode and was on it for ages competing against three other players, it was great.
Oh fuck yes I love this game! I was there for the last clonk FP game, great fun.
Is your server down? Can't seem to find anything on the browser search.
One of the best, yet hardest games I have ever played.
