Red Dead Redemption - Games

[img]http://media.rockstargames.com/rdr/img/reddeadredemption.gif[/img] Back in 2004, Rockstar released a sleeper hit called Red Dead Revolver; a third person, story oriented action western. It is, in my opinion, the best western game to ever come out. Just a few weeks ago I was talking about games that needed sequels and Red Dead Revolver was one of them. You played Red and you travel across the west searching for the villains that killed your father. A fairly new style of combat at the time with slow motion "lock-on" targets. It also featured a very heavy character selection in multiplayer with quite a few gamemodes. Unfortunately, not online. Go buy it if you ever seen it for sale or something. Enough with the prequel. Now is the time for action. More action. Better action. [I]Western[/I] action. Little is known about this game except that you play as John Marston, and you're basically there to unfuck the shit that the bad guys fucked up. It sounds awesome. It's about damn time, I've been complaining for a decent Western game for years. I hope this delivers.

I hope this will be as awesome as the first game, or even better.

That looks awesome so far.

I hope it has Euphoria and the physics of GTA 4, but the badassness of good Western film.

The grass looks just like the grass from cry2 engine. Could it be? It even sticks out in the distance the same way it does in crysis (more noticeably in the editor)

The first screenshot looks great, I hope there's actually going to be things to do in that giant area though. Euphoria physics while on a horse fighting other people on horses? Awesome.

GUN was by far the best western themed game I've ever played. I'll still keep an eye on this though. What WOULD definitely get my money would be a [B]realistic[/B] western game.

The first was pretty awesome, very Sergio Leone like. I hope they'll release this for PC as well.

I hope this doesn't turn into GTA4 with a coat of Western paint. I still believe it's the engine that made GTA4 not as fun as Saints Row 2. Here's to hoping GUN 2 is announced this year.

I always wanted to play the first one along with GUN, but never had the chance. Looks like I'll get a new chance.

When I went into my emails and saw Rockstar email this, I exploded all over the place in happiness.

I like GUN alot better then Red Dead Revolver, hopefully this is better.

If you didn't like Red Dead Revolver and liked GUN, you probably won't like this game.
