Looks incredibly similar to Algodoo (Formerly know as Phun).
Isnt this a clone of the game Phun?
The guy in the video seems so lonely.

Add breakable fixed joints and it will be 100x better than phun.
such loyal developers
but it's just you
I think it's cool.
It's only 0.99 and it's for iphone, android, and playbook. Meanwhile, Algodoo is 15 Euros and Win/Mac only.
I approve this. I loved hell out of Phun and only now found out it transferred into something that somehow lost part of it's appeal, partly for being heavily commercial and partially for... I don't know... not being Phun anymore. This is on different platforms so, not a direct competition to them, and anyway, "2d physics sandbox" is clearly broad enough concept to not to be considered a stolen idea. Downloaded this to my SGSII and gonna see if anything fun can be done on the small display.
It's pretty cool once you figure out how to use the tools. Actually worth the download. It's hard to say that about some of the other games I've tried. Good job!
0.99? it's free for me on the android market [editline]14th May 2012[/editline] ah nvm, has the upgrade thing in app
Day 1 buy! Always willing to support another Facepuncher.
but it's just you
He's a man and a half.
this looks awesome will definitely pick this up if I ever get a tablet
Really cool to see something like this being produced by you after your less successful products. One question though, is there any specific reason this is 35 MB in size?

I thought it might have been Marmalade's doing but Tear n' Burn is only 2MB, and I think he used Marmalade for that too (?)
Instead of giving us 4 predefined buttons it would be really cool if we could use our objects as buttons. (Touch any object and it'll freeze in place, turning it into a GUI button)
holy shit it's out! finally!
I like it. It's awesome. However, there's one bug: if you phone locks and you then unlock it, the screen divides itself in like 3/4. I was going to post a screenshot, but everything fixed itself. Here, if you can't understand what I try to say: imgur.com/s3CY2
Congratulations, it is pretty fun to play.
Thanks for all the support guys!
Add breakable fixed joints and it will be 100x better than phun.
Go into the guide (little book with a ? icon), Contact -> Feature Request. I will implement feature requests for the next update!
Really cool to see something like this being produced by you after your less successful products. One question though, is there any specific reason this is 35 MB in size?
Long story short, I have a custom uncompressed texture format to avoid wasting memory decompressing PNGs at load-time (especially on weaker devices), and Marmalade doesn't fully compress the APKs because they map them out directly to their file system. iOS and PlayBook, on the other hand, have fully compressed packages that are about 1-2 MB. It's an bit of a trade-off and I'll see if there's anything I can do about it. Sorry for the moment.
I like it. It's awesome. If I can find my charger, I'll download it!
Anyone interested in breakable shapes for an update? :eng101: I think that's a worthwhile feature to work on!
Ugh, I can't download this because my phone refuses to let me download things that are over 30 MB.
Hey guys, I'm the chappy who designed the UI, what do you guys think of it? [editline]14th May 2012[/editline] Guy above me try downloading over Wifi.
Mine won't let me download, says "insufficient space on the device" I had no idea that 35MB was greater than 900MB.
Ugh, I can't download this because my phone refuses to let me download things that are over 30 MB.
Sorry about that bud, try downloading it over wifi when you get the chance! I promise, it's worth it :) [editline]14th May 2012[/editline]
Mine won't let me download, says "insufficient space on the device" I had no idea that 35MB was greater than 900MB.
Hm, that's odd!
Mine won't let me download, says "insufficient space on the device" I had no idea that 35MB was greater than 900MB.
Some phone like to download to the worst place possible. Make sure you have space on your SD and internal memory. [editline]14th May 2012[/editline] I'll be buying the upgrades tomorrow! Good luck on the game agop!
Some phone like to download to the worst place possible. Make sure you have space on your SD and internal memory.
2 gigs on card, a gig on internal... I don't know what its beef is.
Hey guys, I'm the chappy who designed the UI, what do you guys think of it? [editline]14th May 2012[/editline] Guy above me try downloading over Wifi.
It's amazing to say the least.
2 gigs on card, a gig on internal... I don't know what its beef is.
Google Play Store is quite simply shit and has an arbitrary 30MB limit for downloads on some phones (doesn't matter if you're on WiFi).
