The First 2 Games(MG and MG2:SS), The (most popular) Solid serries(MGS1-2-3-4 Portable Ops, Peace Walker and rising) And the(crappy) ACiD Serries.(MGA). [B]The Games[/B] [color=red]Reminder:The NES Series is to be disregarded due to it not being real sequels and ports Also the gamelisting is by order in the series I also do not condone Spoliers so everything below is in a need to know basis (except for some games)[/color] [B]Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater[/B] Set in the Cold War-era Soviet Union, the story centers on FOX operative Naked Snake(big Boss) as he attempts to rescue a weapons designer and sabotage an experimental superweapon. [B]Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops[/B] Naked Snake gets captured by his own comrades, FOX which is now renegade to discover the Hidden Cache and big amount of money. The Phi- [B]Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker[/B] The missing link. Big Boss Setups Outer Heaven on a country that has no military. The rest is a blur. [B]Metal Gear(MSX2)[/B] Where solid snake, Goes into Outer Heaven to destroy Metal Gear, While defeating. Big Boss which ironically is his commander. [B]Metal Gear 2:Solid Snake(MSX2)[/B] Solid Snake must infiltrate Zanzibarland, a heavily defended territory located in Central Asia, to rescue a kidnapped scientist and destroy the revised Metal Gear D, Where once again defeating Big Boss. He meets Roy Campbell and Gray Fox. [B]Metal Gear Solid[/B] Do i have to introduce this? This is where the MG series debut on the Playstation platform.Solid Snake called from retirement to rescue the world from Metal Gear Rex as terrorists are planing on using the Rail Gun as a nuke. Here he meets vital characters like Otacon, Liquid, Ocelot And Meryl [B]Metal Gear Solid 2[/B] Snake is sent to discover the new Metal Gear. Raiden on the other hand must infiltrate the massive offshore clean-up facility that has been seized by a group of terrorists that call themselves "Sons of Liberty", backed by a rogue special forces anti-terrorist unit "Dead Cell". They demand a massive ransom in exchange for the life of the President of the United States, and threaten to destroy the facility and create a cataclysmic environmental disaster if their demands are not met. The motives and identities of many of the antagonists and allies change rapidly, as the protagonists discover a world-shaking conspiracy constructed by a powerful organization known as the "LA LE LI LO LU". MGS3 was so awesome. I beat it like 40 times, I'd basically do speedruns every time. :v:

Lol i forgot to add the MGa series even tough i mentioned it. Finished Metal gear solid 2 about 15 times, good times , would like to play it again.

"Kojima Protections"? Also very lacking for a megathread, in my humble opinion. Regardless, I can't wait for Peace Walker. The demo is amazing.

Peace walker looks interesting but it would mean purchasing another PSP :ohdear:

Why a PC games logo? If you take 10 minutes to kill the boss (ie you suck) the battle field gets bombed by the ruskies. [editline]03:08PM[/editline] or yankee's one or the other.

No, you're wrong. It's MGS3, MGS4 = MGS, MGS2 but they're all great.

He's right. Apart from it being Subsistence and Substance where required. MGS4 isn't as good as MGS1. MGS4 is still a great game, MGS1 is a legendary game. MGS3 is just the fucking bomb.
