I still haven't played it, I don't own a 360. Both Halo 1 and 2 came out for PC so I'm guessing it's fairly safe to assume 3 will too?

Doubtful. It was published by Microsoft Game Studio, and they haven't done any ports to PC for years.
microsoft would rather you bought a 360 and halo three. even if it came out for PC you would have to go throught the arse raping procedures of GFWL.
But halo 3 on the pc would have a better community (modders and players) so it might be worth it.
Yeah, when the graphics are old and outdated and Microsoft needs another flagship game for a new OS.
Although, you would think that they'd have learned from their mistakes.
Making a game exclusive to an OS does not make for good sales, especially when the OS in question was a bug ridden pile of shit at the time.

I personaly don't think it will, as we see ODST come out soon and Halo: Reach coming out in 2010 or so, so the guys over there is probably all stuffed up and tries to deliver something good in the future than prioritizing this.

(based on single experience of getting the game in 2009 so graphics progression over the two years may have an impact, although i must say the sound was almost muted no matter how high i turned sound on tv. and speech was always deafened by loud music. individual experiences may differ)
