I am here to ask who plays it? I bought the game, beat it almost 100% but it's a pain in the ass to get a game going online. But if you guys posted your games for live tags or steam Ids then maybe we could all play more. Also what did you think of the ending?
i do but MP brower dosent work on pure faction.
The railgun is built-in wallhacks! Such bullshit!
Am I the only person that liked this game?
No, I loved it.

The music is extremely memorable for me. Maybe it's just because it was my first FPS.

No, it was fairly popular back in the day thanks to it's destructible maps.
It's the only Red Faction I like, 2 and GW were piles of crap to me.
Well GW to me was mind blowing. To see whole town of people and then 3 or 4 minutes later it could be completely leveled. That is why I would like to get a group of people that play often aswell, so i can play often with others.
Loved Red Faction
Hated that damn railgun though. I can't count how many times I had to reload one corridor near the end of the game because of that thing.
What!? Red Faction 2 multiplayer was awesome it even supported bots

What is GW?
Maybe they mean Red Faction: Guerrilla?

Red Faction 1, at least on the ps2, also supported bots. And holy shit, an attempt to get multiplayer games going? I might have to consider getting it on steam or something.
I remember playing RF2 on the PS2. It was so awesome. :buddy:
I got the first one from the THQ pack on Steam... the singleplayer wasn't that great.

That makes sense but Guerilla was really bad in my opinion apart from the destruction.
The first one was an awesome game. 2 was a piece of shit. Guerrilla in the other hand, was somewhere in the middle. Not good but not bad for me.
They are all fucking awesome.

Railgun is awesome. :D

If you had the PS2 version.
The PC version only had "multiplayer" against bots.
Fail.
One thing I liked about the PS2 version was the 180° button. Really useful.
Red Faction 2 had Jason Statham voicing Shrike thus making RF2 a decent game.
Guerrilla has awesome multiplayer.
For me Red Faction 3 was more a experimentation game, i hope they will release a game like (Saints Row 3?) with this engine, but i think because all those large buildings that it is impossible. (But when i destroy a large building on the 360 version the frame-rate keeps going on max, no lag :v:)
guerilla boasted about it's "amazing physics" which was fun for literally 10 minutes.
the physics weren't even that accurate if you compare it to buildings from BC2
Guerilla should have had more missions. I never did many guerilla actions because they were boring (apart from that one where you ride shotgun with Jenkins) and I thought the story was pretty short.

Couldn't have said it better.
Also, there should have been more EDF in each new zone. If you force the EDF out of a zone, the next one should have more.

BC2's destruction accurate/realistic? Lol.
Which game are we talking about here? The first one is a masterpiece, a real gem of a game... the others are pretty meh.
Are we talkin' Guerrilla here? If we are, my Gamertag is Rauthr.
Though no one wants to play with me.

When designing the Geo Mod 2 engine, the company actually destroyed several buildings to observe how the pieces acted. Almost everything acts like it would in real life.
I vote for Guerrilla.
Red Faction is the shit, but II is crap and G is meh :colbert:
