I love the Hitman series. They're all classic games. Who dosen't like to be a Top-Secret-Assassin that can kill people with a screwdriver or throwing them in a giant tub of sharks. But what do you think about the newest add-on to the series, Hitman: Absolution?
Awesome looking game with a clinically braindead marketing department.
With the latest preview, it looks like fun.
Looks good.
Jesper Kyd is not making the music anymore, and with the new moves that Hitman can do - it looks like Splinter Cell.
Adding features? How dare they!

Looks awesome but jesus fuck I wish they brought the old voice actor back
But seriously - Hunter instinct? Is that really necessary?
In blood money it got a bit dull only snapping necks over and over. New moves bring some diversity.
Nope we aren't allowed to do anything new. Adding things that might be fun, removing things that might not be fun, tuning things that are theoretically good are all things you aren't supposed to do when making a sequel. Innovation kills the brand. Until it's Call of Duty, then every release has to be a completely original version of the game. They need to make sweeping changes to basic game design and mechanics. But not Hitman, or Splinter Cell, or Dead Space. Those series are allowed to remain the same because I like them. [editline]24th June 2012[/editline] I like how they made disguises a lot more dynamic and interesting and have shown stealth gameplay and people still don't think it's a ~real hitman game~
I would have preferred that they kept the map and didn't add Instinct, but other than that it looks great.
That Instinct looks to be a bit out of context for the series, but overall the game could be fun, and that's what really matters for me.
Also there's already a Hitman Absolution thread. So if you want to cry about the game, go do it in there next time.
