I recently bought Mass Effect for PC. The game installed and ran without trouble, but then I saw the new update contained free DLC and numerous fixes, so I downloaded it. Now the game asks for my CD-key on startup, and it won't accept the key that came with the game or the one that was supplied for the DLC.
Am I missing something? Or is it just another EA fuckup?
You should ask this from EA...
Did you register your PC key on teh BIoware site?
If you did, there should be a key for the BDTS there, just under the ME1 one.

They say I have to reinstall the game, which I would rather avoid.

Yeah I tried both that and the one I got with the game.
Well snap.
:frown:
I can only think of reinstalling the game, or checking the Reg entries, but, I just had a peek and couldn't find any.
I just started playing the game, and now I have to reinstall it cause' of SecuROM, this makes me rage and cry at the same time.
