Simple question, why did you choose to pay more for pc over console?
I chose for this:
Mods
No publishing= more games
better quality and performance
i like mouse and keyboard
less 12 year olds screaming over mic
I chose both!!

What?
I play on my PC because I am part of the PC gaming master race and don't want to associate myself with you console gaming plebs.
Why over?
Why not both?
Besides OP are you implying that everyone has on this forum has chosen PC over console?
Ive got a ps3, xbox, wii and a pc.
Why choose?
The real question would be which portable did you chose and why. Cause more people only have one handheld as opposed to one console or PC
Well i was talking to the people who play pc more than console. And by no publishing i meant you dont need to get it published so it's allowed to play on xbox/ps3. I'm talking about stuff like garrys mod and crossfire and many other games

You've obviously never had the misfortune of playing Battlefield 2...
As for choosing PC over console (at least back in the day), it was because there were more unique games on the PC. You had games like Baldur's Gate and Total War. Also the FPS's were pretty good.
You don't know what a Publisher does, do you?
I chose 360 over PC because at the time I didn't know much of computers, and it would have been a pain with all the installs and building when I could just buy a console and games and be on my way.
I don't know how to put it into words, but i mean that it does not have to pass through microsoft before it can be played
An, that is just varification.
Publishers usually give extra development funds, deal with advertising, and distribute it.
You know after all my years on the console I have to say college students who think they're the 'super beast pro' are much worse than 12 year olds.
Because playing a FPS shooter on a console is like playing Fifa on PC.
It's crap.
-mods
-devs don't have to charge for dlc
Because my TV is terrible, I don't want to pay for online and I want my mods/mouse/keyboard control.
I do have a 360, though.
PC exclusives like ArmA 2
I still wish PC/Console elitism garnered a perma.
It's flatout better at everything except for baby sitting.
Grew up with PC gaming.
I reject those answers.
Instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose...

Duuuude. SIIIIIIICK BIOSHOCK REFERENCE! It's like you grasped what Andrew Ryan totes meant.
Because it can do more than just gaming, controls, mods, and the exclusives
I choose it over because my dad was in love with computers. So he taught me everything about them he knew as I grew up.
I've got a decent PC, a 360, PS3, Wii, PSP, and DS.
I probably play PC the most because I can't afford games for every system.
grew up with it
PC/Wii/DS here.
Oh yeah also... Sales
Picked up l4d2 for 20$
PC/360/PS3/Wii/PSP d00d.
I chose PC because of graphics and TF2.
