Released in 2008 on the Xbox 360 to mixed reactions, but largely went unnoticed. Some Copy Pasta. Vehicles play a prominent role in the game, replacing the moves and transformations from the other games. The vehicles can be built freely by the player from over 1,600 different components available, such as body panels, engines, wheels, wings, propellers, fuel and weapons. The physics engine allows the vehicles to behave in relation to how they are built, although the sense of weight is somewhat exaggerated. Mumbo's Motors is where vehicles can be constructed, painted, edited, saved, loaded or tested at the "Test-o-Track" area. Humba Wumba also sells vehicle parts and blueprints of preset vehicles that become available for sale whenever a certain Jiggy total is reached. Personally, I loved the game, and it's new direction. The main appeal being in how to solve the challenges in the game. Sometimes you'll find yourself building a vehicle that is focused only on solving the problem at hand, and is entirely useless in any other situation. The game still retains it's series signature charm and wit. That said, the game does have it's faults. Some of the missions require you to use a prebuilt vehicle, which usually works out well, but there are a few that will leave you wondering if the developers even played the game. The main hub world is nice, but the act of bringing jiggies to the center of town feels useless, and the cops will piss you off when they knock your shit over (and the cops serve no other purpose). Issues aside though, it's a great game, and I feel it's very unappreciated. No it's not the old games, but it's still a great game in it's own right.
I like it, I even was pretty active on their official forums before I came here...
I sorta liked this game.
I liked this game, I was a bit depressed that they got rid of the old style of gameplay, but it was fun none the less.
The missions all suck but the vehicle building is pretty fun. It could have been so much better if there was things to do with the vehicles.
My favourite part of this game is making flying penises, or women statues with detachable tits.
I never tried it but it always crossed my mind to pick it up used but never went through with it. I like the developers RARE they make ace games. It's too bad RARE was bought off by microsoft.
I really liked it
I enjoyed the game for the vehicle customizing game it was. Still want a Three-ie.
God I loved this game to no end. Especially when there were races.

this should not have had the banjo kazooie name on it it ruined my childhood >:(
It was a good game but didn't need to be labeled banjo and kazooie. Not a true sequal.
It was a good game but didn't need to be labeled banjo and kazooie. I bet most of the people wouldn't have played it. They would have passed it off as some generic vehicle building game.
it destroyed the game for everyone that was really a fan of the first two games.
i was a big fan of the first two games and i admit i was extremely skeptical and against the idea at first i enjoyed it alot once i started playing. although i would have preferred a game like the originals, this game was a nice change.

Not saying I don't sympathize with you, and I would not mind another epic platformer. At least they released the first two games on Xbox Live :D Also ironically, the day I make a thread about Nuts & Bolts is the day my second Xbox dies on me.
I liked the game but I prefer the old graphics
