These are 100% legit as they are offered to magazine readers, all you need to do is signup on their forums (you will figure out how if you translate the page from polish to english with google translate) and then goto

I don't know if all of them, but my speedball one worked on steam

Yeah, Speedball 2 worked. Sins of a Solar Empire and Tribes would not activate through Steam however.
