I just found the used Half-Life 2 I was never able to activate, (EB games sold used HL2's for some reason, this was 4-5 years ago so I would be a tween back then) Anyways I matured quite a bit and I realized I can get his steam account and all the games he bought over the years for doing this to me when I was a wee lil noob. The question is, do I forgive or not! Facepunch decides!

His? All you said is that you had an unactivated copy of HL2 years ago. Who is this man you speak of?
Oh yeah?
Well I GOT Half-Life 2 for FREE when I was a kid!

He activated it so when I try to activate it I was unable too.
I watched my dad play it for a while, he got to about Nova Prospekt before he lost interest and so I started playing and finished it... Ah, nostalgia...

Your fault for buying a used copy of HL2.

I had no idea because my entire OP wasn't based off of this right?
Heheh...
I sold mine back because I couldn't run it, not realising I'd already activated it and therefore owned it forever. About a year later I was awesome and playing it <3
Kinda the opposite of your story.
Do it, get the account!
Do it.
i don't get this you steald a guy's account for free?
Where I live you can't trade back PC games.
Do it, he deserves it for screwing a kid over. What goes around comes around.

I GOT FREE LIFE HALF FOR 2 WHEN KID WAS AN I! /caps
So, you bought a used copy, found out it was activated and want to steal the guy's account?
I don't see why, that's just overkill.
Anyway, I bought Prey the other day and activated the key on Steam. Now to return the game with a now unusable key for a full refund.

But I was young :v:
Also only if the OP bought his HL2 from Sainsburys :v:
I payed $100 for when it came out
How exactly are you going to get his account?
I feel old.

But you do realize someone can buy that copy of Prey and do the same thing to you, right?
Give it to me.
If anyone here has not played through any of the Half-Life games then they must have a massive problem.

I paid $9 for that at a Circuit City about 3-4 years ago. I still wear the T-Shirt. :smug:
Same kinda deal with me except with CS: Condition Zero. How was I supposed to know there you had to register it with steam to play online? I didn't know about Steam until the end of that year. At least EB doesn't sell used PC games anymore.
I did that too.
I brought CS:CZ, installed it, didn't know about Steam, let a friend borrow it. A year or two later when CS:S was in beta or something I realised "oh shit where's my CS:CZ?!" so I opened up the box and there was nothing in it.

Lambda symbol is also a gay rights symbol
