Self explanatory, but this isn't another OMG I JUMPED after seeing a deathclaw in my face..Oh no, were also have the fear..every play a game where you feel something comes, the feeling you get worsens as you get more anxious, or just things that give you the chills? Pull up a chair and recall.
Shadow's of the empire:
This gave me my first uneasy feeling about Underwater levels...

Basically you recall that Thing in the trash that grabbed Luke underwater...well it's back and it's stalking you..I seriously saw it's tentacle and flipped out, Of course it's pretty mild now, imagine as a kid playing this.
Legend of Zelda game's: Red dead.......Or Redead's as called...Scare my childhood will you.
when I'm just peacefully flying along

and then I start spinning out of control and alarms blare in to my ears. in a panic, I look around my cockpit to see this:

talk about rattling bones.
Windwaker's Redead. They are forever etched into my soul...I knew they would be in the temple before I got there, I just KNEW it. Every 3D Zelda has had them so far. I didn't expect them to look the way they did...Or how their heads would look at you if you hit them with arrows from WAY across a room... Or how their eyes glowed bright yellow, and their heads rattled with the screams of a dying woman...
Walking around in certain places of Half Life 2 is eerie and creepy. Especially when you hear the ambient noises of vents shaking and whispers.

Headcrabs
UGHHHHHHHHHHH
Giant underwater monsters.
I'm looking at YOU, eel from Super Mario 64.
And I'm also looking at YOU, colossus #7 from Shadow of the Colossus.

The giant squids fucked me up too but eventually I took it upon myself to kill every single one. I succeeded and got over my fear. :smug:

Oh yes, redeads in just about any zelda game used to make me flip out. In ocarina of time I pretty much gave up after getting to the future and seeing the town square full of them, and it took me forever to beat the wind waker earth temple also.
What game is this?
I would guess ArmA.
No ArmA2 is not it...
Looks like that one Apache game or w/e
I would guess ArmA.
I don't think it's ArmA, ArmA doesn't even look like that and neither do the cockpits of the helicopters.
[editline]24th December 2010[/editline]
Looks like Apache Air Assault.
Yeah that game.
Yeah that game.
Ah, ok, I was totally wrong.
Oh I remember when I played Doom for the first time. It got me into the horror/nightmare genre.
I'm addicted to the Silent Hill games, I loved Dead Space, Doom 3 was awesome, Amnesia made me shit golden bricks.
Hot damn...
And creepers....
Ssssssssssssssssssss...
And for source, we had Nightmare House 2, which had an extremely disturbing environment of paranoia around, and it was incredibly well engineered.
Exploring caves in Minecraft, even when the difficulty is set to Peaceful.

Everything that has fuckers like this

Strangely I hate spider's...and yet my Elder scrolls mount is a giant one i care deeply for.
Any game in which you can't kill something.

Fixed.
The temple levels in dark Messiah, the ones with the zombies coming from everywhere and all.
I always noclip as fast as possible through it, just doesn't feel right.
Unintentional scares, like if the area is meant to be freaky and an NPC silently walks behind you and you turn and they are right there. Even if they aren't an enemy.
Hl1s headcrab zombies.
You can see the skull, through the crabs flesh, it's jaw in a permanent scream.
:ohdear:

Creepy soundtracks do it for me.
