My Xbox360 Elite has worked fine for the whole time that I have had it and I have never touched or messed with the cables of the Xbox. Just recently, while playing, the picture on the Xbox went funny and looked like a painting. I unplugged everything, hooked it all back up and it worked fine. Then it happened again and I tried the same thing and it still won't work. I bought new cables and everything and it still wouldn't work.
All the cables were plugged in right, i double checked, i turned the Xbox off and on several times, flipped the HDTV and TV switch back and forth and nothing worked.
Graphics overheated. RMA it to microsoft but be sure to keep the hardrive.

what do you mean by RMA overheated?

You should RMA (return it to MS)
