Never really was a fan of sci-fi combat, but this mod changed my mind.
I just tried this mod out and it's very fun, I recommend people try it because theres only about 30 people online in average.
If you look it up on youtube, the gameplay might not seem great, and it's cheesy. That's what I thought, and when I actually tried it out, it was amazing. Think of it to be sort of Team Fortress 2 in space, except you can break in to someones hangar and fly out with a space-flying-kickass-machine.
There are two parts to it, infantry combat, you can choose your weapons ranging from heavy weapons to flamethrowers, carbines, and SMGs. Alone, it is very fun and creates interesting gameplay. The game takes place in, well, space. You spawn on your ship, most likely in the hangar, where you can stay and defend attackers, or attack your enemies side.
How do you get to your enemies side? Spaceships. You can easily board one and fly out of your base - and when I first did it, it was AWESOME. The world is very detailed, asteroids and such, and between the two bases, there are little outposts you can land in and such.
Controlling the space ship is very fun, you can do little stunts, barrel rolls, and stuff like that. Did I mention it shoots out lasers of doom? You can gun down other players that are in their ships, using bombs, rockets, and laser cannons.
Once your done through all that, you enter the enemy's territory, either to land in their base to carry on the objective (bomb planting, deathmatch, capturing, etc.) or to hover around getting the first shot when an un-expecting player flies out with a plane, or shooting down automatic guns and parts of the ship.
It may sound boring, but trust me, this game is very fun. If you download it, you should take a look at the controls or the game will be a bit confusing to you.
tl;dr version - THIS GAME IS AWESOME. Probably the best HL2 mod I've ever played.

I thought it wasn't well put together. The spaceship movements always bugged out for me leaving me to crash in the dock.
The space combat is awesome. The infantry combat is nowhere near it, though ; I always get in a ship, so it isn't a problem for me.

Not a fan of crashing in to the hangar killing over 10 players at the same time, huh?
Adding your own music makes this game much better.

Well there are alot of Peo[b]Fags[/b]ple who would think that.
Old mod......But still i find it excellent for a HL2 mod i mean there ain't that many vehicles type conversions out there
