I was thinking Fallout 3 GOTY and Battlefield Bad Company 2, but can anybody tell me if BF:BC2 runs on the 9500GT smoothly (on the recommended settings)?
Other then that, give me some choices.

BC2 runs smoothly on a 9800GT on medium settings 1920x1080. It needs a good CPU though. Don't get Borderlands, no replay value and it's boring to play by yourself. Fallout 3 GOTY would be a good choice if you want singleplayer, take BC for multi.

I'll probably just go with Fallout 3 then. My CPU is just a basic dual core (2.53 ghz).

Id get Fallout, unless you have a good processor to go along with that card, then get BC2. Heard borderlands is complete shit, and only half good with friends to play with.

Depends on what kind of games you like, I can't give you an accurate game that would suit your needs without you stating what kind of games you want in the first place.
Borderlands shouldn't even be an option, it's such a shit game that it's not even worth any amount of money. It may be fun for a bit but after a while it begins to get repetitive, it gets so bad that after the shit ending you want to fucking burn the game.
