Let's hear your thoughts on this
Just get rid of them all, you don't need that many subforums.
They dont need replacing, just get rid of them Maybe rename GTA 4 to just GTA to include different versions
I guess the ArmA/Sims 3 hype has pretty much died out. GTA should stay in my opinion.
GTA 4 should stay. Rest go. Or just make a Rockstar sub-forum and an EA sub-forum to replace them.
Check the Games forum for a Megathread that has a high rate of posts per day.
GTA 4 should be GTA Series and there should be post icons for every gta game so people know what gta game they are talking about. Just like programming subforum.
Or just have all threads in one section to prevent low usage...
GTA 4 should be GTA Series.
This might be better.
Replace the Arma section with a modern warfare 2 section.
Racing Games, Indie Games.
How about a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. section? That would be nice. Oh and Battlefield!
Replace the Arma section with a modern warfare 2 section.
Maybe Call of Duty series?
GTA 4 should stay. Rest go. Or just make a Rockstar sub-forum and an EA sub-forum to replace them.
I like the EA/Rockstar/Game Publishers/Developers sub-forums idea.
GTA4 forum used to be good for mods, now it's just pretty much useless.
Also shitty time to post this, hardly any members are on
I think that's why they did this now instead of when lots of people are on. Less spam in the GD about "OMG FORUMS CHANGED!111".
What about Game genres. So instead of developers or specific games have FPSs, Racers, MMos etc...
Maybe Call of Duty series?
Or even better, a War Games/Simulators (CoD, MoH, ArmA, OFP and all that) sub-forum, that way we keep all the talk/bitching/comparisons about weapons, realism and all that in a single sub-forum.
I like the EA/Rockstar/Game Publishers/Developers sub-forums idea.
Except they have to be big companies. EA, Ubisoft, Rockstar, etc.
What about Game genres. So instead of developers or specific games have FPSs, Racers, MMos etc...
There isn't really a wide enough range of games in the other categories to deserve their own subforum like MMO's. I think keeping those to GGD is good enough.

Genre specific would be nice.
There isn't really a wide enough range of games in the other categories to deserve their own subforum like MMO's.
Then it would be better to just have a games forum and then lots of people would look at threads rather than threads being overlooked in the smaller, less used sections.
Buh.
I'd like to have an indie/free game subforum. There are daily a lot of those poping up, so it would be nice to have a place to talk about them.
This. But, there will be flame wars.
Yeah it would happen sometimes, but with some moderation it could be kept easily under control. Also a good debate (not a flamewar) is only a good thing, so it would be an interesting forum for that too (debates (not flamewars) about realism and such).
How about we use the idea of having one section, then have Genre/game/dev. specific post icons for people to use so the threads can be sorted by post icon. That way people read threads and they can sort by post icon too. This only worked on the Pre-2009 forums however I don't suppose it would be too difficult to implement again.
