If a thread like this exists let me know, otherwise tell me what racing game for the PC is the best in ur opinion.
trackmania. The only racing game I've palyed on PC that doesn't make me wish for a gamepad.
Depends. Do you like arcade racing or simulation racing?
It's best to stick to arcade if you only have arrow keys.

WASD kay thanks.
GTR 2 is probably the best simulation, NFS:Most Wanted is one of my favorite arcades and the new NFS:Shift is in my opinion the best of both worlds.
I would say NFS Underground 2 is a good game, Trackmania is also fun with all the maps that exist.
GRID is fun. Plays nicely with a keyboard too.
NFS: Shift I personally found pretty bad, playing with a keyboard is nearly impossible unless you turn most of the driving assists on, then it just isn't fun. Also, good luck getting past all the bugs.
Trackmania is the best though, it is so much fun and works 100% perfectly with a keyboard.
Saint's Row 2 :smug:
Trackmania and GRID.
Carmageddon, clearly.
Race Driver GRID everything maxed out fuck yeah.

Isn't it a N64 and N-Gage game ?

what bugs? the game is brilliant(shift that is).
Half Life.
I had some fun with Burnout: Paradise
GTR 2 is the way to be, real men play it.
Dirt 2, maybe too much of a console game...?
Trackmania, hands down.
Another vote for Trackmania here.
Trackmania. GRID and DIRT were both good, so I'd assume DiRT2 would be.
Burnout Paradise is decent, though the non free-roam ones seemed more fun to me. Unfortunately Paradise is the only one with a PC version
Big rigs off the road racing....lol jk. Trackmania
NFS:shift is pretty much the best of both worlds, not too incredibly sim but not too much arcade.
(get a corded xbox 360 controller then use a custom controls layout for shift and it's one of the best racing games you'll play. I've got my left trigger as clutch, right as gas and right thumb stick for shifting.)
If you want sim, codemasters has always made good pc racing sims.
TRACKMANIA!!! Fucking BUY THIS GAME YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT PLEASE DON'T PIRATE IT YOU WILL HURT MY AND NADEO'S FEELING PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!

GTR series surely are the "simulation-oriented" games with the most content, i.e. cars, tracks and a campaign.
But as far as realism goes, they're still a joke in comparison to Live for Speed, or maybe RFactor.
However, I'd recommend neither of those if you're not really into sim-racing.
And you can probably forget about all of the above if you don't have a wheel.
If you want something that's fun in the first place, you should go with GRID or NfS Shift, though I haven't tried the latter.
Test drive unlimited, not really racing but whatever :3:
