The Brothers Creep: A Minecraft Survival Server - Games

[release][b]Who are The Brothers Creep?[/b] The Brothers Creep are myself and my brother, we are both avid Minecraft fans. We have been playing online together for the past few weeks and we have both decided that we would be great Minecraft server hosts. Strelok386(myself) Tiersin(The other brother creep) [b]What makes your server different from others?[/b] Our server is a family business, so to speak. We take full responsibility for the maintenance of the server and those who inhabit it. The server is a fully dedicated, 20 player, 24/7 server with backups created every 4 hours. Right now we are a whitelist server as to keep traffic and griefers down to a minimum. Our server is a friendly build and survival zone, there will be monsters so it is imperative for all players to cooperate with each other and be helpful. Assholes are frowned upon, and action may be taken to solve the problem, but hopefully we will not have this problem. [b]Is PVP enabled?[/b] Right now no it is not, the server is new and there isn't a need for people to start maiming each other. [b]How do I become a whitelisted player?[/b] Simple, you can either give me a PM with your minecraft player name; or you can drop it off at our email, which will be posted at the end of the OP. [b]Does your server have any rules?[/b] Like most servers, ours has some rules. The most important rules right now are: 1. No lighting stuff on fire, this will result in either a temporary or permanent ban, depending on the severity of the damage. 2. No random destruction of other players creations, be it roads, buildings, etc. 3. Trolls are frowned upon, you aren't funny so take that shit elsewhere. [b]Can we build wherever we want?[/b] You can, but I do not recommend it. We want to encourage a friendly playing atmosphere with cooperation. Right now we do not have a town to start in, so it will be imperative for everyone to work together to create the first settlement. From there, you are free to expand to any location you desire. Just remember, if you are all alone in the middle of the woods, your safety is not guaranteed. [b]Can I be a Moderator?[/b] Moderators will be chosen at my brothers and my discretion. We look for kind, constructive, and helpful players to be moderators, which we ARE in need of right now. If you are caught breaking any rules, you will be stripped of your privileges and possibly banned temporarily or indefinitely. [b]Anything else we should know about, anything you are adding?[/b] We are currently working to set up a ventrilo server as well, that way we can all communicate verbally. I've built a little halfway house into the cliff face overlooking the town, if everyone can drop some supplies or excess stuff in there every time they pass it'd be helpful for everyone.

In the process of adding everyone, give it some time. I think at this point we're going to cut the influx of people so any new PM's will be put on a wait list. Everyone SHOULD be added now, depending on how many my brother decides to add.

This server is a ton of fun so far. And it's getting to be more fun now that there are so many people playing on it.
