• Putting a serial/key thing into a game after it's already installed?

So I had rainbow six vegas 2, and i played it single player a few times, and I liked it. So I went out and bought it. Seeing as I already had a character with a few unlocked items/armor, is there a way to put the key I bought in the version I already had to make it a legit version and play online? I wouldn't mind reinstalling it if there was a way to keep my profile. Is there a way to make a backup of a profile like in cod4?
:munch:
If RavenQ was here he would have banned you. Hell, he even banned a random user because he had a torrent client on his taskbar downloading nothing or even hinting at anything illegal. ... Oh, I forgot something :munch:
