Cannot get Frets on Fire X to work - Games

As the title may suggest, I am trying to no avail to get Frets on Fire X to work. I've downloaded the latest version v3.120 [url=http://code.google.com/p/fofix/downloads/list?can=2&q=release:Full]from here[/url], third one down (Windows 32-bit Python 2.6 + GL 3). Before anyone asks I am using Windows XP. Running the installer has it want to install to My Documents by default, so I let it. When I try to run the fofix.exe in the folder, however, it gives this error: [img]http://www.cubeupload.com/files/c31a00blurg.png[/img] I have tried everything I can think of: moving the folder to Program Files, (backing up and) putting the files in the Frets on Fire folder (fofix.exe still errors, and then the original FoF exe doesn't do anything if I do this), trying to install the patch (which has no instructions at all and isn't very simple to figure out). I've trolled the internet for about twenty or thirty minutes trying to find people with problems like this, and I simply can't find any. Does anyone know how to fix this? :saddowns: (By the way, I hope to God this is the right forum. :saddowns:)

Hello Jason, you forgot to blank out your name in the address bar. I found this somewhere "Some of you may get FoFiX issue 959 , if so delete the POWRPROF.dll file from your data folder." You could try that. Or maybe you're missing a .dll file. Do older versions work?

Don't get FoFix. They tried to make FretsOnFire like Guitar Hero which just degraded the game. Stick with RF-Mod + Hering
