How the hell do I stop Mirror's Edge running in a FUCKING letterbox? - Games

Seriously, it's incredibly distracting and reeks of lazy porting. If there's even a way to stretch the screen so the black bars aren't there I'll take it. As it stands, I have a 16:10 monitor, I should be able to run it at 16:10 you cunts.

I can run it in 1920*1200. It's not a bad port, it works just fine, your computer is borked.

It's not a port, it's on the Unreal Engine 3. Have you installed updates?

I played Mirror's Edge in 1680x1050 with my 22inch widescreen just fine. Tried asking DICE support or something?

There's nothing wrong with it. Run it at the correct resolution.

Reinstall the game, if you haven't already. Check all of your drivers.

I play 1680x1050 16:10 res and it doesn't have letterboxing.

I like games that do that. I have a 5:4 monitor, but I like playing games in widescreen. I don't find it distracting at all. If you want to fix it, set it to a 16:9 aspect resolution, and it should stretch it.

Would make me feel like my monitor is being wasted, very annoying.

Also Generic. No one wants to help you WHEN YOU TYPE IN ALL CAPS LIKE THIS AND ACT LIKE A COMPLETE ASSHOLE.

This one of the lamest things to complain about.
