Anyone else hear about this? It's a new AC game obviously but it has, get this, MULTIPLAYER. Unfortunately i don't have much details and i'm not much of a thread maker but i got the email from Ubisoft and the website with it. (also i know there's multiplayer because the site says "Preorder and get the Harlequin multiplayer character") Here's the site http://assassinscreed.us.ubi.com/brotherhood/#/weapons (yes it only shows weapons at the moment) NOTE: All weapons shown are multiplayer character signature weapons, that means one of the characters will use an axe, another will use the claw, etc. But in the videos it looks like Ezio can use them as well as the multiplayer characters. AC Brotherhood still has Ezio as the main character besides Desmond so don't get your hopes too high up. Gamestop site: http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=77863 Description from Gamestop (with bold on parts i thought were important):

MASTER THE POSSIBILITIES – As Ezio, a legendary Master Assassin, experience over 15 hours of single-player gameplay set in the living, breathing, unpredictable city of Rome.
LEAD A LEGENDARY BROTHERHOOD – Recruit and train promising young Assassins. Deploy them across the city as you see fit, or call upon them to aid you in your quests.
EXPERIENCE A RICH HISTORICAL TAPESTRY – Collaborate with real historical characters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Niccolo Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza.
WIN THE HEART OF A CITY – Use your hard-won currency to revitalize the crumbling capital city. Rally the citizens to your cause and unlock extra factions and missions.
DEPLOY SECRET WEAPONS – Devastate your enemies with poison darts, parachutes, double hidden blades, hidden guns, and an advanced flying machine.
MEMORABLE MULTIPLAYER – Choose from multiple authentic character classes, each with their own signature weapons and killing moves. With richly-detailed maps and a wide variety of unique multiplayer modes, you’ll never fight the same way twice.
Also this is how the email went:
Cool. I just hope it hasn't that DRM everyone's talking about.
Cool. I just hope it hasn't that DRM everyone's talking about.
It most likely will, pretty much a reason why to get it on consoles (i'm a console gamer so it's not like i have to think twice about it)
Holy shit awesome. I hope there's a protect the "civilian" gamemode, while another assassin tries to kill him. That would be fun. I can't wait to find out what time period this is. The site said the syringe was a new invention.
However, Charles Gabriel Pravaz and Alexander Wood were the first to develop a syringe with a needle fine enough to pierce the skin in 1853.
Judging by the fan and symbols, I would say Asia. Taiping Rebellion in China 1851-1864 Makes sense.
You know in the 3rd Assasons Creed you are going to be the guy who goes into the animus. So like you are in the modern day.
Nah, the Animus is too big. More than likely you will be going through different parts again, except it might not make up as much of the gameplay as in 1+2.
You know in the 3rd Assasons Creed you are going to be the guy who goes into the animus. So like you are in the modern day.
You know in the 3rd Assasons Creed you are going to be the guy who goes into the animus. So like you are in the modern day.
I hope this, AND the animus.
-Live and breathe as Ezio, a legendary Master Assassin, in his enduring struggle against the powerful Templar Order. He must journey into Italy’s greatest city, Rome, center of power, greed and corruption to strike at the heart of the enemy. Defeating the corrupt tyrants entrenched there will require not only strength, but leadership, as Ezio commands an entire Brotherhood who will rally to his side. Only by working together can the Assassins defeat their mortal enemies and prevent the extinction of their Order. And for the first time, introducing a never-before-seen multiplayer layer that allows you to choose from a wide range of Assassin characters, each with their own unique weapons and assassination techniques, and match your skills against other Assassins from around the world. It’s time to join the Brotherhood. It'll most likely be both. Desmond having memory bleed plus modern day.

So is this Assassins Creed 3 then?
Aww, oh well, speculation is fun. So is this Assassins Creed 3 then?
No. Brotherhood =/= ACIII.
Oh I kept confusing this game with Bloodlines for the PSP. Assassin's Creed with multiplayer...that should be interesting.
This is going to be awesome.
Rome? Really? Lets see you assassinate Julius.
This seems like AC 2.5 rather than a full 3, probably just to tide people over until 3.
Rome? Really? Lets see you assassinate Julius.
It's the same era as 2.
I seem to have broken the site by solving the puzzle.. It told me I'm a quick thinker and that I had unlocked a new weapon (Hidden blade, I think) [editline]12:17PM[/editline] Correction: Switch blade. I also received some 'exclusive downloads' Should I post download link or would you like to earn it too?

the claw looks sweet
Post. Or tell us how to solve the puzzle.
tell us how to solve the puzzle.
:buddy::respek::buddy:
This seems like AC 2.5 rather than a full 3, probably just to tide people over until 3.

Brotherhood =/= ACIII.
If there isn't a coop mode I will kill someone.
The puzzle is simple, it's all of the symbols that appear on the weapons profile after the video and this symbol:
fuck, [sp]ezio probably lost an arm, judging by the claw[/sp]
Either that, or one of the Multiplayer characters, as they have "signature weapons".
Figured out the code, pretty easy. Relevant:
Apparently in Multiplayer you are one of the Templars, with your mission to kill the assassins Ezio commands. Also, small cover art pic.
After I figured out the code (thanks to victormeriqui_1 the weapon that shows up is the hidden blade.
Rome? Really? Lets see you assassinate Julius.
That's the most dumb thing I've heard today. Julius lived like 1500 years before this game takes place.
