So my mates are trying to get my back into wow again, and after watching them play, im developing a heartache on how much i have missed it. So they are on the horde side and i loved playing a rogue so im going to make a horde side rogue.
but i was wondering, what race is the best for a rogue? i mostly pvped when i played sooo
Orc - rage, more dps?
Undead (I think its the best) - Will of the forsaken, gets rid of fear sleep and confusion
Belf - Arcane torrent, silences and gives energy
Troll - attack speed
so what do you think? i was thinking of making an undead rogue
also, is anyone in fp playing on the dreadmaul server?
Gnome.
Oh, you're a hardcore horde fag that only plays big ugly races, wait until till Cataclysm and make a Goblin rogue.

my friends are all horde... you wouldn't be complaining if TBC didnt come out. 70% were alliance, then TBC came out with belfs and now 70% are horde. Once Cataclysm comes out with worgens, everyone will go back to alliance
cataclysm wont come out for ages and im thinking of starting now
Undead is easily the best horde pvp racial.
However, as you say it is pvp your into I'd seriously consider going alliance and human since theyre racial generally trumps the undead in most situations.

are you like, 12?
Alliance: Night Elf
Horde: Undead
Alliance: Night Elf

i hate night elves
If you look at top ranked players, if their class can be undead, they are undead.
The fear break is far better than other racials. Of course some racials are better, rogue dueling I'd say dwarves are the best (poison break saves cloak + allows vanish with bleeds up), humans are good too with their perception (which is still very good) and they can use 2 trinkets (RNG burst trinket + Battle masters trinket is very nice).
Even night elves are very good - numerous times i've been demo shouted out of stealth at the start of a match and quickly shadowmelded before they've seen where i am. Aswel as that without a group shadowmeld can be used as a vanish. I'd be very tempted to say in non-tourney arena night elves are as good as humans if not better.

uhhh i never disagreed with you?
Yeah I hate Night Elves too but their racials are good for Rogues.

Or I was explaing the benifits of each race?
Yeah I hate Night Elves too but their racials are good for Rogues.
Having a battlemasters trinket/bandits or whatever> a chance to have an extra resteath.
Undead motherfuckers
blood elf

Male.
Play an orc
2 trinkets at the same time fuck yeah
Undead and Human are good for PvP.
I believe Orc is good for PvE though. Or troll?

funny guy
Undead = PvP
Orc = PvE
Also...
Goblins > *
tbh
I'd have to say Worgen if we include next xpac.
More damage and an extra sprint.
Don't Goblins get a speed attack increase?
Don't Goblins get a speed attack increase?
Yep, Time is Money.
For now, undead for pvp. Usually rogues are very pvp oriented so that's what I'm assuming you should roll.
Goblin racials
Rocket Jump - instant - 2 min cooldown
Activate your rocket belt to jump up to 20 yards.
Rocket Barrage - instant - 2 min cooldown ((shared with Rocket Jump))
Fire your belt rockets at an enemy within 30 yards.
Time is money - passive
Cash in on a 1% increase to attack and casting speed.
Best Deals Anywhere - passive
Best possible gold discount, regardless of reputation.
Pack Hobgoblin - instant - 30 min cooldown
Calls in your personal servant, allowing you bank access every 30 min.
Better Living Through Chemistry - passive
Alchemy skill +15, your potions give more health/mana.
from this, i think undead is better than goblin
* Will of the Forsaken : Removes any Charm, Fear and Sleep effect. 2 minute cooldown.
* Cannibalize : When activated, regenerates 7% of total health every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. Only works on Humanoid or Undead corpses within 5 yards. Any movement, action, or damage taken while Cannibalizing will cancel the effect.
* Underwater Breathing : Underwater breath lasts 233% longer than normal.
* Shadow Resistance : Reduces the chance you will be hit by Shadow spells by 2%.
Undead for PvP Orc for PvE
He said at the start that he was going to use it for pvp.
And I still stand by what I said about humans earlier.
yeah i know, i really wanted to be humans, i even tried convincing my mates to go alliance, but looks like im stuck horde
are you like, 12?
No GeeBee, go back to trollin' every WoW thread.
Gnome, you have the escape artist wich is very useful when you get caught and trapped or something, just escape and vanish
Having a battlemasters trinket/bandits or whatever> a chance to have an extra resteath.
Not entirely, in a non-tourney level game getting the opener can be a huge game winner.
E.g. Some retarded warrior DK pala spam demo shout at the start. You lose steath, shadowmeld. This means you get an opener which makes them have way less momentum, they might have to go defensive. You gain momentum (healer pressure, you control the CC etc.) and can easily lead to a win.
Or you could not get unsteathed at the start which should be the norm and have a bandits proc which delivers the KB.
Undead is probably the best.
