This one guy tryed to steal my account with scamming. Right now I'm getting info off him and asking questions
I'm getting him to answer by telling him I'll report him for trying to steal my account. :V:
I have steam log right now.
You dont instead you let him steal accounts from idiots.
Seems reasonable enough.

Paste the steam log, this might be good :munch:
you can't really report a hijacker per se, presumably because there's so many. if you really wanted to bust your ass to get this guy you could wait and see if he tries to use cheats, because you can actually report them for that. the way you'd go about that is through their community page, I believe.
alternatively, send him ransomware

I think that's only for profile page violations

How do I report a cheater?
It is not necessary to report cheaters playing on VAC-Secured servers - the VAC system will detect and ban these individuals. We appreciate the intentions by reporting individual players suspected of cheating, however unsolicited reports of cheaters will be discarded.

If you are playing on an unsecured server, you may wish to report cheating to a server administrator - Steam Support cannot ban players for activities on unsecured servers.
i guess i am retard

There's a reporting button on his steam profile page. Upper right corner. Try that.
Anyways steam scammers are usually pretty young and are not a real threat. If his profile has any games on it, consider reporting because his account will probably get banned and he will lose those games (You would have to be EXTREMELY stupid though to use your real account in scamming).
Chances are the account he was scamming from was a stolen account. I can't believe people fall for this shit.
There are also sites that let you report phishing links.
