The title explains it all.
The character creator has just been released.

Just had a go and it's quite good. You get to choose the usual stuff like race, class and attribute points but you also get to see what skills and powers you will get when the game is released.

The title may explain it all, but maybe you could expand on why it is vital to know this?
Everyone post your characters here. :)
300 mb download? It better be... better than the Spore CC.

Honestly it reminded a bit of Oblivion's character creator. I would recommend this more for people who are interested in Dragon Age.
It's much like Oblivion's character creator, just, not as flexible.
Anyone else get horrible texture bugs? Might because I'm using it in windowed mode...
It's very functional and being able to choose your voice is a nice touch. If the samples are any indication of the end result, I'm expecting very good things from the voice acting and writing.
I wonder if I'll ever get to hear "Warden senses tingling!" in the final product.

Fun to muck around in, can't wait for release.
Thanks for the heads up, downloading it now.
Pre-ordering this shit.
Want Pre-Order, but ME2 and Borderlands exist >:(
Before I download this I'd care to know what makes it so different from the character creators in other RPGs?
It's a character creator for a really bad ass looking game.

Your race and class feed into a background which determines one of six ways the story begins, so instead of just moulding a face, it lets you decide history and personality too. You also get to pick your voice and sample a few basic utterances (greetings, celebrations, battle cries etc.). Once you finish with the aesthetics, you get to allocate attribute points and review your character's starting skills. Finally, you get to save your character ready to be used with the full game when it comes out.
Sounds like an Elder Scrolls character creation crossed with an MMO's starting system and I'm sure there has been a voice thing in an RPG at some point. Oh well, they've never all been in the same game at once, sounds awesome.
It'd be cooler if I see more classes.

Saints Row 2 had that, but that doesn't count as an RPG.

Neverwinter Nights had it, although it was nearly entirely for the emotes rather than dialogue. I'm sure there are earlier or better examples still.

Some people call me a pervert.

I just call it adding to the eye-candy.
Not finished.
How are you taking screen shots? The usual print screen method only gets a picture of my desktop.

Might have to turn on AA to fix that. I was having that problem earlier.
The character creation looks cool, but I'm wondering how expansive the actual game is and how the gameplay works. Will it be anything like Oblivion?
It might be like a mix of Oblivion and Mass Effect.
I saw the trailer, it looked badass.
I'm going to make a sultry teenage super fox.
I believe that would translate into a female elven sorcerer. I don't know, does this use the D&D system?
What a piece of shit character creator.
You can't even edit the body or change starting skills.
Although, I do like the portrait editor... that's a nice touch.
I can't even find the download link. I enter birth date, 18+ ofc, where do I go next?
