My birthday's in exactly 2 hours from the time of this post(EST), and for the first time in my life, I literally have no idea what I want. Nothing's really appealing to me lately, as far as games go, and I don't require anything else in my life at this point, so I've got a bunch of spare gift cards and money to go towards just about anything.
Thing is, I've got this really strong urge to play an RTS. But not just any RTS, an RTS in the style of Rise of Nations. I like the civilization building, army controlling, micromanaging style. I'd try Civ5, but it's turnbased, and I'm not big on that whole style.
Normally, I wouldn't make this type of thread, considering every type of it I've seen posted over the past 4 years I've been on this forum has ended badly, but I'm completely at a loss here. So, boys and girls, any recommendations?
(preferably games that are digitally distributed, especially by STEAM, but if I have to get it via Amazon or such, it's no big deal)

I suppose civilization V might be to your liking. It's sort of like that, but on a large scale.

Civ V isn't a Real Time Strategy, it's turn based.
I'd recommend Age of Empires 2, but that's probably too old for what you have in mind.
