Hey guys, I need some help.
Some months ago I uninstalled Battlefield 1942 & its expansion packs. Now I cannot seem to remove the installer in Add/Remove Programs, and the game's folder is not there as when I uninstalled it, I thought it was uninstalled for good. Bad fucking idea. Now it won't reinstall, it won't uninstall, and I cannot go back to sometime last spring with System Restore. System Restore doesn't even work for me. What the fuck should I do? I am not reinstalling the whole computer just becuase of a fucking game, so help me out.
What does the installer say? something along the lines of "game is already installed.. blabla go to add/remove to remove the game" ? If so check your desktop for any .exe's or shortcuts, and remove them. Then try reinstalling.

go to my computer, right click on the CD drive, hit "explore" go to setup.exe and run it. then un-install it from there.
Apologies for the bump, but I did what you said, Trunk, and BF42 is now installing again. *bro hug* Thanks, man.
