My default and using resolution is 1680x1050 and some VALVe games such as TF2 does not support that. So is there any commands or set launch options to make the resolution to 1680x1050. It's kind of annoying seeing black side borders when playing, so please help out if can.
You can play TF2 at that resolution, have you tried changing the aspect ratio to widescreen? (Whatever the numbers are)
Change the aspect ratio to 16:10.
Add the launch options -w 1680 -h 1050
Aspect Ratio=16:10. 16:9 does not support 1680x1050.
Even fucking HL1 supports 1680x1050. Change the 'aspect ratio' setting in your graphics options to 16:10 and select 1680x1050 from the resolution list.
