Whenever I launch HL1 it goes to the loading screen (the HL: source one) then crashes without any warning. I've tried redownloading and verifying but it won't start. I haven't had problems with other goldsrc games before.
System specs:
Operating system: Window Sercer 2008 R2 enterprize 64-bit
Processor: Core 2 Quad @ 2.33GHz
Memory: 4096 RAM
DirectX: 11
ATI Radeon HD 4670 1gb
As said before other Half-life 1 games work (such as CS, CZ and TFC)
Something must be wrong with your computer if it can't handle Half life.

I didn't say it can't handle half-life I said it crashes on startup.
Fixed, nevermind.
New problem, when I pick up the crowbar at the start the game quits to the menu.
Do a re-install. Delete the GCFs as well.

I already did that, still didn't work.
