Not sure if anyone heard about this before, or they have and nobody noticed/started a topic. The 3rd Birthday, essentially a 3rd Parasite Eve, the only reason there is no Parasite Eve in the title is due to an alternate storyline, there is no Eve, or anything, but Aya Brea, Maeda, and Kyle return, and so does that little girl 'Eve' from the second game. Aya still uses liberation, it seems, but that's it. I don't know how this works, or what will happen, but I watched some gameplay, and it seems like one huge, really fun mindfuck. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atNYHBQZVFU I want to know what happens, stopped by gamestop and they said it'd be out around April, but this may change. I won't torrent, because god knows, I rely on dialogue. Fun thing is, different costumes, different stats and different voice actors and quotes. This, and MHP2 are the reasons I got a PSP. Is anyone else excited? It's the first time I recall Aya having a Voice Actor, And she honestly sounds adorable. Anyways, according to the trailers, time goes in reverse in this game, so perhaps we might revisit the other games, but I doubt that, considering the storyline doesn't go that far back. I'll give the soundtrack a 9/10, Escape from U.B is even there, and sounds creepy. Opinions? by the way, it's PSP only. (And yes, it's a game.)
What.
What.
^ what I thought originally.
OP, explain all of this better. Is it a game or what? [editline]22nd January 2011[/editline] Or is it a movie? [editline]22nd January 2011[/editline] Or just some chick with a gun?
I'm not really into japanese video games that much because they tend to make me say "What".
it's a psp game, and it's pretty weird.
^ what I thought originally.
No what I mean is is that you didn't really explain what this is at all. Now that I looked at the video, why are they making a nintendo 64 game?
it's a psp game, and it's pretty weird.
Agreed, but willing to get it to know what the hell is going on. Will give up 10 minutes into the game because my wimpy ass sucks, or i might give myself a headache wondering what to do. Luckily, they give you a tutorial. thank god.
iirc in the ps magazine your clothes will act as your armor
Looks like a stupid game but the chick in the OP is pretty hot.
so, I just watched the gameplay in japanese and a subbed ending. My head hurts, this game is CONFUSING. So apparently it's more like a remake.
For the last FUCKING time Japanese people: HIGH HEELS ARE NOT FUCKING STANDARD BATTLEFIELD APPAREL.
Been waiting patiently ever since I heard of it.
Seems they ditched the horror elements in the previous games and opted for more a more straightforward action approach. Not sure if that's a good idea, no offense. EDIT: Oh, and the protagonist is actually thirty-five - [sp]due to her genetics being on superhuman extents as discovered in the second game,[/sp] she doesn't physically age and thus looks to be in her twenties.
Seems like a lot of guys don't know shit about Parasite Eve, one of the greatest hits for the Playstation?, no?, really?
Seems like a lot of guys don't know shit about Parasite Eve, one of the greatest hits for the Playstation?, no?, really?
rat scene :ohdear: :iia:
-snip-
p.s. there's a whole "body-swapping" system where you can possess any allies on the field (they respawn after a certain amount of time) and they have different special weapons i.e. sniper rifle, bazooka, mounted machine gun.
That woman does not look like she is at all prepared for any combat.
i hate japanese games because in every single fucking one everyone sounds the same
That woman does not look like she is at all prepared for any combat.
also this
Seems like a lot of guys don't know shit about Parasite Eve, one of the greatest hits for the Playstation?, no?, really?
no, they apparently do not. Also, the person who wrote the storyline =/= the same one who worked on the original two, it seems.
For the last FUCKING time Japanese people: HIGH HEELS ARE NOT FUCKING STANDARD BATTLEFIELD APPAREL.
Who the hell can disagree with this statement? Show me an army that issues high heels and I will show you an army that would be decimated, style should not take priority over function. Also show me a woman who can run fast in high-heels and I will show you a hooker.

It a Japanese game, over the top style, nothing wrong with that, want realism go for ARMA2 but the idea of a video game is do things that you would never be able to in reality, therefore fighting as a half nude chick is necessary - especially for the Japan PS3 style shit.
Break armor ->Don't repair clothes :q:
PE 2 was god-tier.
