For some reason, my HL2:EP2 sounds aren't working. The NPC's will not speak. Although I enjoy Alyx being silent for once, its bothering me. Everyother sound works okay though. Any remedies?
Must be the Freeman disease
Try reinstalling the game I had that once and it worked
delete your soundcache

Turn on your speakers.
Seriously try deleting your sound cache.

Have you been messing with scenes? If so just delete scenes.image in your game directory.
Delete C:/
Delete LIFE:/
