I have been trying forever to try and find out why this isn't working. When I tried to update it a few hours ago it worked fine. But now it says: Working file C:/Program Files/.../addons/phx is locked. And below that line, it says "Please execute the cleanup command". But when I try this, I get the error (filename) is not under version control. Please help.
You may need to blow away your local install and try again.

Does anyone have an idea? I mean getting rid of my install would that get rid of my svn files? Because it'd take forever to get those back.

But it didn't ask me for a password, I know those codes, but it never asked me, where do I enter those.
In the svn link make sure it has a / at the end. That made a huge difference for me and works perfectly now.
Were you by any chance using RapidSVN?
It did that for me as well. The problem is that it crashed at the very end of the download, and the SVN files are still locked, because they're still being "downloaded".
TortoiseSVN is the way to go.
Unfortunately I can't get TortoiseSVN because it refuses to install because of some Visual C++ error that I don't know how to get rid of.
