Upto 3000 people per server fight over control for 15 cities in over 60 types of tanks. The more enemy tanks you destroy the more XP, Bonus, Contribution, and Money you get allowing you to buy upgrades, promote your commander (your avatar) or buy new tanks. The game orginally came out in 2006 but didn't fare to well outside of Korea, and has recently been in closed beta. But now it's back again with a new publisher(Efusion MMOG GmbH, who also publish Navy Field) and starting from today is in open beta again. I first played this when it first cropped up in 2006 with some people from PHWonline and loved it. It starts a little slow, with you only facing NPC-tanks in puny tanks but soon enough you find yourself thundering across Europe in a steel monstrosity engaging in huge battles with hundreds of other players. You can improve your tank with upgrades ranging from armour and tank treads to new cannons or engines, the more XP you gain the more skills you can unlock as well, these vary from giving your tank a speed boost to immobilising and disabling an enemy's weapon. You can also join with other players to form a company and earn extra XP and communicate with just them, rather than the whole server.

This is Great, i'm level 4 as of now, very easy to get into.

Missions are hard to complete cuz our mighty German Blitzkrieg corners the puny Russians in a corner with indestructible fortress guns.

well since it just came out open beta, there wont be that many high levelers squeeshing the puny newcomers quick! I must play!

this game is fun! Graphics are decent, gameplay is fun enough and there's a lot of people in battles. A LOT (20v20)? The only thing i'm gonna complain about is the completely horrific AI seriously utter shit I'm tank commander Fluffy on the Soviet side For Mother Russia!

Happles in the 3rd Reich reporting in! It's a pretty awesome game, it takes some skill and stuff.

It doesn't really get boring.

If you look past the horrible translations, this game is fukken awesome.

I used to play this game about 3 years ago when it suddenly dissapeared, this game was really awesome, I loved grouping with a few people and rush the enemy bases. t'was always a pain in the arse trying to get past the city turrets.

Fun as hell game, Stalingrad is intense.
