I've been searching for this kind of game for a while now, and I can't seem to find a really good free one.
I already have Starcraft but it just isn't satisfying to me.
Really, I'm looking for a free game which is similar to that new game "Jurassic:The Hunted" coming out.

You have a few options, but not many, there's really only Dungeon Keeper I/II or Evil Genius.
Base building games are really rare nowdays.
Anno 1404/Dawn of Discovery, and Evil Genius are what I recommend.

Nah, I meant Jurassic: The Hunted because one of its features are fortification battles.

Oh God Dungeon Keeper! I love that game so much, it's not free but it's quite old, I cant imagine it would be very expensive, but it does sound like just what you want my friend :)

You could try Survival Crisis Z, it's free, has bases in it. And zombies. Not dinosaur zombies though.
