Hey guys I'm thinking of playing an MMO, but I'm not to sure which MMO to go with.
I was thinking between WoW or EVE
EVE LOOKS more appealing but WOW is much more popular, but I'm not to sure.
Which do you think is better or do you have another MMO in mind?
When playing an MMO it's best to look at the social aspects of it, so for community-wise I'd go with WoW. If you're more focused on solo gameplay then EVE sounds better. In my opinion it's best to play MMOs with friends, so WoW sounds like the better choice.

I was thinking the exact same thing, if i was going to play WOW it would be for the community aspect to it, but I've played many games somewhat similar or remotely similar to WOW eg Oblivion, Guild Wars. But I haven't played a game that is remotely like EVE and it'd be a refreshing change to the games i usually play however it is slightly risky.
EVE is better in almost every way. But if you don't like the Sci Fi scene then no point.
But EVE isn't for everyone, you have to be patient. People get the game and go, WTF LOL SKILLS TRAIN WHEN YOU'RE AFK!? LOL OK *SITS BACK*
Of course it's not like that, you have to do alot of Begging, Noob Mining and Tutorial Missions before you can be considered a minor player in EVE.
In EVE you experience tragedy, I just fly my ship through Low-Sec on Autopilot, got back to my computer realizing I was blown to smithereens in my 2.5mil ISK ship. You experience gratefulness, like when a legend randomly donated 1.5mil to me. You find wonder and whimsy, that first wormhole or stumbling into a massive P2P war.
EVE isn't just about the aesthetics of it's beautiful HDR graphics with Bloom and anti-lag methods. There are many wonderful aspects about this game, but you really have to be in the right mindframe to play it, and play it well (the only way to play it).
The universe is massive, and when I say massive, my best friend a long time WoW Player dropped his jaw. And the possibilities endless, it truly triumphs WoW for a lot of MMORPG'ers.
Try out the trial though, it'd be useful if you had a friend with you. They come in handy trust me.

That's entirely subject to personal opinion.
Yeah I got a little carried away there.
I should have said: To me, EVE is better in almost every way.
WoW if you want a streamlined, easy and fun MMO.
EVE if you want a really fun but insanely difficult MMO with an insane learning curve.
