re-posting in the correct area ME3, would the stargates have made a difference?

first of all i didnt know where to put this in the first place so i put it in general disscusion, some one pointed out it was in thw rong section, so im re posting here im leaving out my personal comments so as not to get off topic again, sorry im still new to this punching bag forum
I was messing around in gmod the other day with some addons i have, i put the Tali ragdole next to Orlin's stargate (featured in season 5 i think) and thought, if the Stargates where made in the mass effect universe, would it have made any difference to the outcomes? I know a lot of you will be going on about the reapers being really old and they would have taken the Ancients before they could make them, but bare in mind even in the Stargate franchise, the MKIII (milkyway stargate for others) was the latest stargate the Ancients had made, the one found in antarctica was around 50 million years old, and that type wasn't even the first.
We don't know how old the Stargates are but we know that the Universe Gates, even if they are antiques, are the oldest working gates we know about. To me it would take a few melenia for the aincents to assend to what we know them as now, same goes for the stargates, they went from a big bulky thing with a limited range to a reletivly compact device that can be moved from planet to planet and was only limited in range by the amount of power it had, I don't know about you but that would take a very long time to do.
So back to the mass effect stargate crossover idea, we know that it took many cycles to get to the time we play in the game, long enough for there to be an interval between ancients assending and people who made the reapers rising to galactic prowess. the Stargates are at least 50 million years old, a cycle happens every 50 thousand years, by my calculations that gives us one thousand cycles after the antarctica gate, although it could be older as we dont know how they varafiyed it's age. Even so a thousand cycles to me is a sufficent time for the reapers to be trolling around the galaxy. knowing that reapers leave some evidance of the last dominant civilsation (e.g. prothean city with the thorian in the first game) behind to speed up the process, they might have left the stagates alone, might not have even worked out what they where for (the millitry thought it was some sort of weapon in stargate sg1, shows how naive people are sometimes). If the SGC was in our time and then abandoned, found in mass effect time and restarted, allows for transit to other systems without a mass relay, trolling right back at the reapers. One of the things the stargate is usable for is blowing up a star, connect an outgoing wormhole to a gate with a black hole near by, throw said stargate into star you wish to blow up and well, bye bye star. There are many other things the stargate was used for so with this in mind, would the stargates in mass effect have made any difference?
Your idea is bad and you should feel bad
live like a windrammer as you fuck
ugh
crossovers are bad and you should feel bad
crossovers are bad and you should feel bad
why should i? many cross overs have been done before and have been quite good, i would have been happy if you said "this idea is not a good one" or some words to that end, but to say i should feal bad implies that i care about what you think, so i say to you dilligad?
this idea is not a good one
happy?

what the hell does dilligad mean

a fair point, although you none the less understood it, and do you know how the internal workings of a watch work? or have a pritty good idea as to how our universe works? or even care whether or not you do? i have had enough of this place.
Oh my god i cant stop laughing it hurts.
This is a bad idea, not just for the fact that it would be an abyssmal crossover but also for the fact that the reapers would probably destroy them all or royally take the piss and place all the gates in deep space.

yeah I do, in fact I own multiple mechanical clocks including one from a Soviet aircraft.
It doesn't change the fact that:
#1: this is an abysmally bad idea
#2: you're making judgments about people that are totally unfounded
#3: this probably should go in fast threads
#4: your grammar leaves a lot to be desired, especially if you want your idea to be taken seriously
I stopped reading after the first few words because I've seen so many bad fanfictions or stories i can just tell.

Stop acting so smug, you can't even spell for shit but claim to be incredibly smart, I could probably ask you about the internal workings of a watch and the universe you keep rambling on about and you'd probably answer me back with either another attempt at being smart, some mediocre answer or something re-worded from wikipedia, shut the fuck up and stop thinking the world revolves around you, you are as insignificant as an asteroid when it's compared to the universe, with your superior understanding of everything you should know what I mean, you the very embodiment of what makes humanity the blight that it is, you delude yourself with idea of superiority, stop being so vain, deflate your ego while you're at it.
The Mass Relays are supposed to be stargates. Launching you at the speed of light so you can get half way across the universe in seconds.

even at light speed it takes a couple minutes to get from earth to mars, so it would have to be faster than light
[/flauntingmyintelligence]
yeah, read the ME wiki and it is indeed much faster than faster than light... hahaha.
Also, reading the ME wiki reveals that Mass Relays also can explode... how convenient.

Actually minutes would make sense considering the load times in ME3 V:v:V

ME3 load times were fine. Elevator loading screens in ME1 on the other hands....

I am guessing you played Mass effect on the PC but the load times on the consoles are unbearably long.
