I swear practically every mission has you going into some cave. Even if the mission doesnt take place in a cave, the supplies needed are only found in caves. Im getting sick of all these missions where you have to go cave to cave doing short quests. Do you ever get a mission thats long and isnt in a cave for once. So far i've gone through what i think is 3/4s of the missions. I swear im this close to just killing the next guy i see so i can join the dark brotherhood! Atleast they have some variety...
If you don't like the caves citizen, I hear that Bruma is great this time of year.
Oblivion why so many damn caves?
Because you gotta fight the fight there so you don't have to fight the fight here.
you get the awesome last mission so stop bitching
you get the awesome last mission so stop bitching
I dont even know what it is yet
Oblivion why so many damn caves?
because it is a fantasy RPG and to my knowledge it is one of the defining things of this catergory of gaming. I may be wrong but i think they are derived from Dungeons & Dragons which, as the title say lots of running around dark hole in the ground.
cause the caves are where you fight the good fight
Oblivion comeback? Kinda old mediocre game already and 2 threads popped up.
Ontopic: Heh, theres kinda a thing with fantasy RPGs and caves.
You see in every fairytale/fantasy story terrible monsters hide in dark caves etc.

i advise you to take back the mediocore part it is incorrect and shows poor taste in gaming.
By the way i agree with everything else you said
The fighters guild quests are the worst :(
The very first Fighter's Guild mission takes place at Desolate Mine. :eng101:
Can somebody link me to Generic Monk's Oblivion thread?

Sorry but oblivion isnt that good at all. Its really good with those over 9000 mods out there but otherwise I find it kinda dull. Stupid minigame skill usage, bad repetetive voice acting, no actual plot twists.
Also the combat feels pretty boring in the end >:
Though its only my opinion.
One of my favorite games. maybe you would be better suited with something with shiny colors and loud sounds and such. Because this is a role playing game. supposed to emulate real life with a fantasy setting. I thought the plot was fine. I also thought the whole point of the game was to have the player live life in a fantasy world. Most of the time for me was spent doing other crap than the main quest. But like you said, its your opinion. I dont like metal gear solid, and somebody could do what I just did with that game to me. V:v:V
caves are ossim

uhmm. No.
It's fighting tigers/cougars in the basement of some annoying dark elf bitch.

Oblivion is an awesome game.
Gun to my head what is the best game in the world ? I'd answer oblivion.
I just had to get that off my chest.

It depends on what Fighter's Guild you start at. Each town's guild has its own quests.

I used to think the combat was boring. Then I got deadly reflexes.
I never ever in my 20 hours of Oblivion, met a monster outside that isn't: A rat (or other low level creature), or wasn't close to some ruins/other place.
It was so goddamn annoying.

Hate to be the mod endorser again, but Marts Monster Mod pretty much fixed that for me :v:.
Oh, and caves are awesome, so I don't get why you're complaining :colbert:
Who wants to fight some starving mountain lions?
Do we fry 'em up afterwards and try to sell the pelts?
Then steal incredibly fancy and expensive looking goblets and shit that are only worth 1 golds?
I used to think the combat was boring. Then I got deadly reflexes.
I wish I learned how to use that, it sounded awesome.

Then level up your character.
Stop right there criminal scum! You are accused of hating! Pay the fine or rotten in jail!

Except you're just imagining that oblivion has that stuff. There is almost nothing real or realistic about oblivion, and I don't mean because it's a fantasy game hurf durf. It's not a bad game but.. Come on..
Wait until you get the bear helmet . . . then it ALL becomes worth it!
