We produce games in house, beginning with Choice of the Dragon and Choice of Broadsides. We have also developed a simple scripting language for writing text-based games, ChoiceScript, which we make available to others for use in their projects, and we host games produced by other designers using ChoiceScript on our website. All of our games are available for free on the web. We also produce mobile versions of our games that can be played on iPhones, Android phones, and other smartphones." [/release] The books are pretty much like the Fallout conversations with writing and stats usage. Recently I got a new Kindle for my birthday, and have been enjoying it very much. So I started downloading some of the games on it to pass my time, which is what led me to find the Choice of Games. I've played "Choose your own adventure games" before, and only experienced flipping alot of pages and making mealiness choices. What makes this different is the Choice of Games people have combined modern RPG game Stats with clever writing. Creating an experience like in the book "Heir Apparent" minus the fancy equipment and being trapped . My first time playing one of the games had me waste my whole physics class being so engrossed in it. The choices you make help shape out your character with the addition of a stat system. So if your a person trying to sway this broad in a bar, and your patronage sucks ass so you don't know how to dance, your going home with no pussy tonight. This also means your choices are meaningful as you have to play to your strengths. Currently, you can play there games online for free, but they do offer their titles for most mobile devices. I highly recommend you try Choice of Broadsides http://www.choiceofgames.com/broadsides/ The developers have also released their developing tools in the name of "ChoiceScript". This is a very easy programming language to get into and you can easily make your own CYOA-book. Maybe make a book based on your school, rising to the top being popular or holding your math class hostage. Read more about it here.
